Formed in Hillsborough, NC in 2012, as part of Double Martini Productions, Inc., The Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe offers fun, sassy stage opportunities to singers, dancers, specialty performers, comics and more.  These Volunteer Performance opportunities invite seasoned talent to put foot to stage once again, while offering the same opportunity to new performers  We give everyone a chance to find their path onto our stage.  We also offer important back-of-the-house opportunities to talented individuals in these areas and more:  Audio/Video/StillPhotography/HairStyling/Costuming/Wardrobe/Makeup

We are an all-volunteer multiple-opportunity provider for area performers.  Our Troupe Members  and Guest Performers share a love of the stage, of collaboration, nurturing each other's talents and offering support as individual performers grow their confidence.  Our focus on accepting and loving yourself exactly as you are, is only one aspect of our body-positivity mission.  We encourage each other and lift each other up so that our affirmation levels stay high, stay true and stay focused.  We truly reap the harvest of the wonderful results that occur when we perform without competition, but with collaboration.

Our professional alliance is with The UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (UNC CEED).  We partner with UNC CEED fund-raisers and perform in support of their Intern Programs.  This fulfilling partnership has continued to grow over the years.  We are grateful for the alliance as they continue to enrich not only our community, but a world-wide reach with their amazing research and solution-oriented therapies for eating disorder patients, their partners, and their families.
